Activities

Our meetings offer us the opportunity to meet others in the same position as ourselves.

We share coffee and a chat and a session of yoga, which most of us find remarkably beneficial.

A therapist provides reflexology, head and shoulder massage and reiki once a month.

We now have a fitness trainer who has experience of working with people with MS and other critical illnesses. She understands our varying needs and limitations and is able to help us at one session a month.
In the meantime
we'd love to hear from a physio who may be interested in joining us here to help at other meetings.

We have some splendid volunteer helpers for our meetings and this help includes providing lunch for the members. We'd also like to hear from volunteers who have time to spare on a Thursday morning/lunchtime.

We recognise, from personal experience, the difficulties facing someone who has just been given a diagnosis of MS. It's a most difficult time, especially if one's doctor has not had the time to explain much or answer questions.

Having others to talk with who have been through the same experience can be very helpful and we're glad to be able to offer this support.
